Loosing Track 2002

A collaboration with performance artist, Mary Paula Hunter, and visual artist, Meg Governo, Solondz and Governo created an installation comprised of hundreds of pounds of clothing that circles slowly, (using motors,) on old fashioned clothes lines.  This idea was a response to Ms. Hunter’s narrative about her frantic reaction to life events, (including losing track of her son coming off the school bus).  Her very physical performance moved through the installation and utilized the clothing, (ie. she manically wraps a child’s snow suit in string,) as she tells her stories.
