An installation at Gallery Naga that traveled to Anna Maria College in 2018.
The work combines the qualities of fragility, translucency, and time. Many of the materials used - salt, rust, soap, mud, sugar - were chosen for their simple beauty, but also for the innate qualities that allow them to change, evolve and grow over time. The processes are often a kind of “slow art” that Solondz sets up and lets happen over weeks or months.
